Basement, 2nd & 3rd Floors Apartment Units Kitchen & Bathroom Cabinetry Replacement at NORMAN LOHN - Residential Apartments Term of Contract: The Contractor proposes to substantially complete all of the work contained above, within Two Hundred and Ten (210) calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Building will be occupied. Scope of Work Description Renovation notes: All construction work shall include but not limited to the following: 1. A Logistics Site Plan and schedule must be provided and approved prior to the commencement of any work. 2. Any damage caused by the installation of the Kitchen and Bath cabinetry will be the responsibility of the contractor. 3. If a permit is required, the contractor shall be responsible for applying and paying for permits. 4. Provide new solid Maple wood (or as specified) cabinets, countertops and appliances as required. Verify dimensions in the field. Verify and coordinate required clearances with all appliances, range, range hood and refrigerator. Contractor to provide shop drawings for kitchen cabinets layout for approval before installation. All cabinets must meet Severe Use HUD standards. 5. Provide new plumbing fixtures and accessories as required. All plumbing fixtures shall meet Maryland and HUD's energy standards. 6. Installed new PVC drains, waste line and vents in bathroom and kitchen as required. Provide all new shut-off valves in kitchen and bathroom areas. 7. All information indicated on the -General Specification of Materials and Products- sheets are the basis of design and product replacement specification. If contractors would like to provide bids for alternative materials/manufacturers, they must do so during the bidding process and not afterward. Please provide a log that demonstrates whether the proposed material is equal or better than the basis of design or product specified.
