Site work for a road / highway in Alameda, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials-except as specified-and performing all work associated with the Traffic Signal Upgrades Project. The contractor must begin work no later than five working days following the specified start date and complete all work within forty-five (45) working days. All contractors and subcontractors are required to pay workers at least the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the California Department of Industrial Relations. Each contractor or subcontractor must be currently registered to perform public work and possess a valid Class A construction license. Bids will only be accepted using the provided Bid Proposal and Schedule form. Bids must be submitted under seal with a 10% bid security and, upon award, the contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the total bid. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must obtain a City of Alameda Business License. Please direct any Project questions to Cody Lim. Questions must be by written email to clim@alamedaca.gov and received by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday January 6, 2026. Bidders are responsible for monitoring and obtaining all changes or addenda during the bid process. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor defects, or solicit new bids.
