Site work for a water / sewer project in Alameda, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Repairs to storm-damaged flood control channels in Alameda County caused by atmospheric river events between December 2022 and March 2023. Work includes restoring eroded slopes and failed banks across multiple channels by excavating damaged areas, removing disturbed soil and vegetation, rebuilding slopes to original grades, installing rock slope protection at the toe, placing soil-filled RSP up to the 10-year water surface elevation, backfilling and compacting upper slopes, and applying erosion control matting and hydroseeding. Repairs for Phase 2 cover 21 sites along Arroyo de la Laguna, Arroyo del Valle, Alamo Canal, Arroyo Mocho, and Tassajara Creek with anticipated completion in summer 2026. Phase 3 includes 20 sites along South San Ramon Creek, Alamo Canal, and Alamo Creek with anticipated completion in summer 2027. All work is to be performed with land-based access only. Location: Alameda, CA The estimated dollar range of this project is between $10-25M.
