The City of Alameda seeks proposals for a 5-Year On-Call Plumbing Maintenance contract. The work involves providing as-needed plumbing maintenance services for approximately 76 City-owned facilities, including City Hall, City Hall West, Alameda Free Library buildings, recreation and parks buildings, police, and fire departments. The vendor will perform services in support of daily operations and safety, with work tasks detailed in an attached scope of services. Each on-call service request will have its specific scope and cost agreed upon before work begins. The vendor may be required to perform work on a time and materials basis, with a not-to-exceed limit for each work order. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed. The City reserves the right to engage other consulting firms as needed. Proposals should include: a statement of qualifications, details on relevant experience, information about key personnel, a list of recent similar projects, and a cost schedule for all possible work units. Bidders should also disclose any exceptions to the standard service provider agreement, and provide information on any relevant litigation.
