The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials except as specified, and performing all work related to the installation of four grated overflow inlets on four storm outfall pipes and the installation of cured in place pipe on the storm pipe segments between the newly installed overflow inlets and the upstream drain inlet at Crown Memorial Beach in the vicinity of Shell Gate and Willow Roads. Bidders must submit bids on the provided Bid Proposal and Schedule form. All workers must be paid at least the general prevailing wage rates as determined by the California Department of Industrial Relations. Bids must be submitted under seal, accompanied by a 10% bid security, and the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. No bids will be accepted from unlicensed contractors, and the general contractor must have a valid Class A construction license. Project documents may be obtained from BPX Printing & Graphics, and it is the bidder's responsibility to ensure receipt of any addenda or changes. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor defects, or solicit new bids. Bidders must ensure their firm appears on the BPX plan holders' list and are responsible for obtaining all project documents and changes during the process. If any person contemplating the submission of a bid for the proposed construction finds discrepancies in or omissions from, or is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Project Manual, the person shall request an interpretation in writing, on or before 5pm on January 27, 2026.
