Demolition, site work and addition to a medical facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a 6,600-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility.
This project will provide a new electrical service upgrade for the campus. The scope includes demolition of existing electrical equipment and generators from Building 16 as well as the building itself. A new addition will be added to Building 1 for the primary switchgear and the new generators. The equipment upgrades will include three emergency generators, associated automatic transfer switches (ATSs), and three new unit substations. The project includes a 6,600 square foot addition to the south side of Building 1 for the installation of new campus electrical distribution equipment and the installation of three new 600 kW standby generators for the campus. Per VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
