Site work for a mixed-use development in New Canaan, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
No contractor may withdraw his proposal within 90 days after the actual date of the proposal opening. Additionally, the contract documents require the prompt commencement of the work. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals or any part thereof, to waive defects in the same, or to accept any proposal or any part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of New Canaan, Connecticut. This request was prepared to solicit proposals from qualified responsible contractors to provide construction services for the installation of a new water service in New Canaan Connecticut. The site is located at the Benko Pool, 140 Lapham Road, New Canaan, CT 06840 Furthermore, the submitting contractor must possess a cunent Contractor's license, and must provide a copy when submitting their proposal. (Please fill out and supply all information requested in this document). ALL WORK MUST BE COMPLETED BY MARCH 31,2026 Install a new meter pit and curb valve with a two inch service line from the water main. Install a two inch service line from the meter pit to the main filter building. Install a one inch line from the main filter building to the small kid's pool filter building. Make all connection as required by code.
