Proposals are invited from qualified companies for asbestos abatement at the East School Media Center. The selected contractor will be required to enter into a contract that mandates the posting of performance and payment bonds, submission of insurance certificates, and adherence to Federal, State, and Local laws and ordinances. A proposal surety, in the form of a bank check, bid bond, or certified check amounting to ten percent (10%) of the total RFP price, must accompany each proposal. Three copies of the qualifications and proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Director of Finance & Operations at New Canaan Public Schools. Proposals submitted after the specified date and time or via fax or email will not be accepted. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all proposals or to waive irregularities as deemed in the best interest of New Canaan Public Schools.
