Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Alvin, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Alvin Independent School District is seeking proposals for the CHILD NUTRITION HOOD CASE LINE REMODEL PROJECT for a one-year term. The project will be awarded as an exclusive contract with both a Primary and Secondary vendor due to product availability. The awarded vendor will deliver all products directly to the designated campus and must coordinate delivery dates with the Child Nutrition Department as specified on the purchase order. All contracted service providers must comply with Texas Education Code Section 22.083, requiring fingerprinting and a national criminal history background check for employees who come in contact with students. Vendors should submit sealed proposals, including one original with all necessary backup, by the stated deadline. Instructions to bidders include submitting proposals on time, materially satisfying all mandatory requirements, and following the specified format. Questions regarding requirements must be submitted via email. Pricing should be submitted in Auto Quote or similar format to ensure all specifications are met. Alternate bids must include backup specification sheets, and all pricing should be firm for the term of the agreement. Proposals must include guaranteed maximum prices with shipping costs included per item, and Alvin ISD cannot make down payments. Deliveries and installations will be at Melba HOOD CASE Elementary School, and deliveries must be scheduled with the district. The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept any proposal in its best interest. All items must be inspected and accepted by Alvin ISD, and the vendor is responsible for the cost of returning any defective or incorrect products. Payment will be processed upon receipt of goods.
