Renovation of a laboratory facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade laboratory facility.
Electronic bids will be received for the project "IN073 Science Bldg. - Replace AHU 5 and Update Controls" at Indiana University Indianapolis. Bidders must register and sign in to www.iuplanroom.com to submit a bid. Bidding documents are available for free downloading on the same website. All communication during the bid period should be sent to bidtab@iu.edu, and responses to questions as well as additional information about the project will be issued in an addendum through the IU Plan Room. Bids submitted after the specified deadline will not be accepted. Email all communication during the bid period to bidtab@iu.edu. Responses to questions and any additional information about the project specifications will be issued in an addendum through IU Plan Room. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Provide new air handling unit: AHU-5 B. Specifications and Drawings which describe the products to be purchased under this contract also contain information regarding Work to be completed by the Mechanical Contractor and others. 1.4 WORK UNDER SEPARATE CONTRACT A. Mechanical contractor is to accept delivery, inspect, unload, position and install mechanical equipment that is to be furnished under this contract. B. Wiring to junction-boxes to junction boxes that are provided by the equipment manufacturer will be installed by the Electrical Contractor.
