Bridge No: 098C00121N Sealed Bids are requested for construction services to relocate and install a portion of 4-inch waterline. The project includes a 20 linear foot conventional road bore, approximately 210 linear feet of 4-inch Class 350 Ductile Iron Pipe, two 4-inch gate valves, a creek crossing, and associated water-related appurtenances near the intersection of Petty Fork Road (CR-1766) and KY-3414 (Left Fork of Long Fork) Road in Pike County, Kentucky. Bids will be for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements and the Davis-Bacon Act regarding wages. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used must be produced in the United States unless a waiver applies. Specific waivers include De Minimis, Minor Components, Pig iron, and direct reduced iron. Bidding Documents are available for examination and purchase as described. Bid security must be furnished per the Instructions to Bidders. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received after the stated cut-off date at the pre-bid conference will not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
