Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Watkinsville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,730-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project is a 2,730 sq. ft. addition to the existing Oconee County Schools Transportation Building. This project consists of selective demolition, grading, storm drainage, installation of a lift station, installation of a force main, installation of a septic system, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, concrete walks, renovations in the existing building, pre-engineered metal building structure, concrete slabs on grade, pre-engineered metal building roof, pre-engineered metal building wall panels, hollow metal doors and frames, finish hardware, aluminum storefront and glazing, drywall and framing, carpet, svt, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, painting, casework, plumbin, hvac, controls, fire alarm, and electrical. The project is anticipated to be taken to the January 12, 2026 Board Meeting shall commence immediately upon board approval and be complete by July 1, 2026. *Amacher Brothers Construction request subcontractor bids by 5:00 pm on December 17,2025.
