Renovation of a swimming pool in La Quinta, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade swimming pool.
This project is located at the Dune Palms Mobile Estates off Dune Palms Road between Highway 111 and Westward Ho Drive. The proposed work includes the abandonment of a pool which will require partial demolition of the existing pool and backfilling the pool cavity with fill material and compacting it to conformance. Additional work includes removal of a masonry wall, pilaster, and pedestrian gate for pool access, installation of decomposed granite, and metal fence replacement. All project work and incidental items to complete the project shall be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and other provisions of the contract. All the above improvements are to be constructed in a workmanlike manner, leaving the entire project in a neat and presentable condition. Bidding procedures are prescribed in the Project Specifications. Bids shall be executed upon the forms bound and made a part of said Specifications.
