**As of January 26, 2026, project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The City of Mexico Beach, Florida, is requesting sealed bids from qualified bidders for the ADA Dune Walkover at 7th Street project. The bidder is to provide all costs associated with the construction of this project. All proposals must be in writing. They must be submitted by mail, FedEx, or hand delivery in a sealed envelope clearly labeled, "ITB 2025-09 ADA Dune Walkover at 7th Street Project." Each submission must include one original paper copy and one electronic copy of the bid. Only submissions received by the stated deadline will be considered, and late submissions will be returned unopened. Full specifications and any addendums can be accessed at the provided website. Bids must remain firm for ninety (90) days. The City of Mexico Beach encourages participation from all segments of the business community, including small businesses, minority/women-owned businesses, and disadvantaged business enterprises. Discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sex, or age in the administration of contracts is prohibited. Questions concerning this request should be submitted in writing to, Emily Thomasee, Anchor CEI, Inc. at ethomasee@anchorcei.com and Tammy Brunson, City Clerk at t.brunson@mexicobeachfl.gov, no later than 5:00 PM (central time) January 5th, 2026. SCOPE OF WORK - Demolition of approximately 90 LF of existing wood and composite walkover structure (portion of existing walkway closest to roadway to remain). - Relocation of existing signage. - Construction of 200 LF of 5' wide composite and wood walkover and all necessary components per the Bid Documents. o The City may request progress inspections at the City's discretion as work progresses. o Substantial completion for construction shall be 90 days after execution of Agreement and Notice to Proceed. o Final completion for construction shall be no later than 120 days after execution of Agreement and Notice to Proceed.
