Site work for a water / sewer project in Mexico Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of December 10, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 16, 2025. This project includes the construction of the Mexico Beach Pier. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to complete the project. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The City of Mexico Beach ("Owner") reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 60 days after opening. The successful bidder will be required to hold his prices until April 15, 2026. That is the estimated time by FEMA that the environmental permits will be available. The Owner shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the Owner reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the Owner determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the Owner a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder.
