The City is requesting bids for the provision of services consisting mainly of the following: The rental of Python 5000 or equivalent all-in-one mechanized trucks, with operators, to perform mechanized pothole repair within the territory of the City of Quebec. The work consists mainly of filling road cavities with asphalt using a vehicle equipped with a system for applying bituminous mix by spraying the materials. All work must be carried out independently by the vehicle and its operator, without the latter leaving the vehicle cab. The work includes, but is not limited to, the supply and transport of asphalt, maintaining it at the correct temperature, cleaning potholes using an air jet, laying the asphalt, and compacting it. The City plans to use three vehicles simultaneously, and this number could increase to five vehicles at times. The hours indicated in the bid form therefore represent the sum of the estimated hours for the use of the three vehicles (3 x +-100 hours) and a bank of 100 hours for two other vehicles.
