A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Description: The Town of Surfside Beach seeks qualified bidders for grid/turf/block style paver installation at beach access(es), subject to specifications. All questions about the proposal or the submittal and selection process must be directed to the following: John Adair, Public Works Director Tel # - 843-913-6361 jadair@surfsidebeach.org This solicitation is for a qualified firm to provide and install appropriate base materials, filter cloth, and turf block-type paving blocks per the town specifications. Proposal should be for a lump sum with scope of work. Unit prices per square foot will be provided for this project, and additional work outside of the original scope. The intention is to leave the whole area in a pervious condition to mimic natural stormwater conditions. The target beach access is 12th Avenue South, and may be extended with mutual consent of the parties to other beach accesses.
