Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Yankee Run Self-Forming Channel in Hopewell Township, Mercer County, Ohio. The project location begins on the west side of Hellwarth Road (north of the intersection of Oregon Road), extends north and east across Hellwarth Road, and ends at a farm bridge north of the woods east of Hellwarth Road. Bids must be submitted on the specified forms, sealed, and accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond for 100% of the bid amount, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for at least 10% of the bid amount, subject to instructions. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond for 100% of the bid. Requirements include compliance with State of Ohio prevailing wage rates, insurance provisions, and other stipulations. Bidders must be listed on the engineer's official list of plan holders to be eligible. The commissioners reserve the right to reject bids or waive irregularities as deemed advantageous.
