The City of Miramar is soliciting bids from qualified vendors/contractors to provide and furnish all material, equipment, and labor needed for the removal and replacement of four (4) HVAC units at the City of Miramar Town Center Data Room. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive any informality in a bid/proposal and/or in the bidding/selection process, and to make awards, if awarded, to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder/offeror as deemed in the best interest of the City. COMPLETION OF WORK: All interested parties shall acknowledge the following work conditions and requirements. 1) Safely shut down and disconnect all power to the existing units. 2) Disconnect all electrical, ductwork, and refrigerant lines from the old unit 3) Replace Data-Aire HVAC units with Liebert Models on 2nd floor of Bldg A data room (First unit will be be a Hybrid A/C with DX and the second a chilled water only unit) 4) Replace Data-Aire HVAC units with Liebert Models on 1st floor of Bldg W data room (First unit will be a Hybrid A/C with DX and second a chilled water only unit) 5) Removal of (4) four old condenser, evaporator, and any other old components from HVAC # 1,2, 3, & 4. 6) Repair and patch any damaged walls or surfaces where old unit was located 7) Reconnect all electrical and refrigerant lines to the new units 8) Provide temporary cooling to prevent overheating of IT equipment 9) Test system to verify proper functionality and performance, including checking airflow, temperature differentials, and system safety controls 10)Make any necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure the system is operating correctly 11) Perform cleanup of work area and remove all debris offsite
