A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The San Bernardino County Flood Control District is seeking proposals from qualified providers to deliver professional land surveying services for the Hawker Crawford Channel project in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The project generally involves constructing approximately 4,000 lineal feet of single reinforced concrete rectangular open channel (20' wide x 10' high), along with associated junction structures, transition structures, inlets and outlets, cutoff walls, channel fencing, access ramps, roadway reconstruction, and utility relocation. The new channel is to divert an existing mixed earthen and concrete channel into a single reinforced concrete rectangular open channel extending from south of Beech Avenue, moving southwest along the west side of I-15 Freeway, passing beneath Cherry Avenue, and discharging into the San Sevaine Basin #5. A 10' wide x 10' high double cell reinforced concrete box culvert will convey flows beneath Cherry Avenue. The services to be provided are specified in a detailed Scope of Work. The contract period will last up to three years.
