The City of Shelbyville, Indiana invites bids for aggregates and concrete, curb and gutter repair including flat concrete work, adjusting manhole castings to grade and rebuilding manholes, and equipment and labor rates for use by City departments on small projects or emergencies. Bids must be in accordance with specifications and terms available at the Clerk-Treasurer’s office. Bids must be submitted on State Board of Accounts prescribed forms and must include a non-collusion affidavit. Proof of insurance must be shown with the bid. A $2,000 bid bond is required to accompany all bids. Successful bidders on curb, gutter, concrete work, and equipment and labor rates must furnish a $5,000 performance bond when the contract is signed. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
