Site work and new construction of a power facility in Pioneer, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility; and for site work for a power facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Solar Infrastructure Project for the Village of Pioneer, Ohio. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked for the project, and addressed to the Village of Pioneer. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Davis Bacon Prevailing wage rates apply, as do the Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Requirements under the Inflation Reduction Act and Sections 45(b)(8) and 48(a)(10). This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements, meaning all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used must be produced in the United States, unless an approved waiver exists. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the opening. The Village reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct investigations to determine bidder responsibility. The Project is the Village of Pioneer - 2026 Solar Infrastructure Project ("the Project"). The Project and Work consists of construction of the install a new 3-phase distribution underbuild along AMPT's existing 69 kV transmission line corridor. The underbuild will begin at the tie-in point of the solar field riser pole and terminate at the Kexon Substation, 2 ditches running North and South and utilizing that material to build a berm/Dike wall running East ands West along US 20, and fence Installation around the entire Solar Site in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Design Professional and ensuring compliance with all Prevailing Wage Requirements and Apprenticeship Requirements under Sections 48(a)(10) and 45(b)(8) of the Internal Revenue Code pertaining to the construction of solar projects greater than 1 MW (AC) in nameplate capacity.
