Projects include bridge washing at various locations in Albany, Greene, and Rensselaer counties; regional bridge washing in Cayuga, Cortland, Onondaga, Oswego, Seneca, and Tompkins counties; highway pedestrian safety improvements at various locations in Westchester County; pedestrian safety improvements at various locations in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, and Ulster counties; highway resurfacing on Route 308 in the Towns of Milan & Rhinebeck and Village of Rhinebeck in Dutchess County; pavement resurfacing on Route 1 and Putnam Avenue in the Village of Port Chester and Town of Rye in Westchester County; pavement preventative maintenance on segments of Route 17M in Orange County; pavement resurfacing on Routes 133 & 100B in the Towns of Greenburgh, New Castle & Ossining and Village of Ossining in Westchester County; retaining wall improvement on NY Route 52 in the Town of Delaware in Sullivan County; bridge rail replacement at various locations in Broome, Chenango, and Otsego counties; intersection improvements at NY Route 25 at Mount Sinai Coram Road in the Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County; and bridge painting at various locations in Bronx, Queens, and Richmond counties. Sealed bids will be received as set forth in instructions to bidders until 10:30 A.M. Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page. Bonds must be on form CONR 391. Electronic bids must include electronic bonds. Documents and Amendments are posted and the Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all Amendments are incorporated into its bid. To receive notification of Amendments via e-mail, submit a request to be placed on the Planholders List. NYS Finance Law restricts communication with NYSDOT on procurements and contact can only be made with designated persons. Project related technical questions or comments must be submitted through the Construction Contracting section of the Business Center on the NYSDOT website. Contract administration or procurement questions may either be submitted through the website or directed to the appropriate contacts. Contracts with 0% Goals are generally single operation contracts where subcontracting is not expected. To comply with contract requirements for NYS Civil Rights reporting, it is recommended that all Bidders and subcontractors have an active EBO account. For Federal Aid projects, bidders are required to submit DBE Commitments with their bids. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability/handicap and income status in consideration for an award.
