As of January 27, 2026 the project has been awarded. Sealed bids are invited for demolition at 363 E South St in the City of Galesburg for the Community Development Department. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, and Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. Vendors must comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations, the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570), the Human Relations Act, and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg, considering price and other factors.
