Renovation of an educational facility in Galesburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education, Galesburg CUSD #205 for the 2026 Facilities Improvements Project. Lump sum bid proposals are required and will be publicly opened. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference and visit the site before submitting a bid. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash amounting to 10 percent of the base bid must be submitted. Bids must be submitted by the closing time in an opaque sealed envelope. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities. All bidders must comply with Illinois Law regarding prevailing wage, labor, and Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. Electronic bid documents can be obtained at no cost through City Blue Technologies. Contractors are responsible for reproduction costs of hard copy sets. Digital documents can also be obtained from the office of the Architect; hard copies are at the contractor's expense.
