Demolition for a fire / police facility in Galesburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire station.
Please see the Invitation to Bid regarding how to obtain documents. Sealed bids are invited for the demolition of the former fire station located at 647 Maple Ave in the City of Galesburg for the Galesburg Fire Department. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. Vendors must comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations, the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570), and the Human Relations Act, as well as all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg, considering price and other factors. The City reserves the right to accept any bid or part thereof, or to reject any or all bids.
