The City of Galesburg, Illinois, invites sealed bids for demolitions at ten locations in the City of Galesburg for the Community Development Department. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. Vendors are required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations, the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570), and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act. The contract award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg, considering price and other factors.
