Site work for a water / sewer project in Highland, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Removal and replacement of sections of clay tile underdrains, installation of waterproof lining on concrete walls, and removal and replacement of filter media. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. Give special attention to and comply with project insurance and bonding requirements. The contract and bidding documents may be examined at specified locations. Bidding documents may be obtained from the office of Curry & Associates Engineers, Inc. upon payment of a specified fee, refundable if documents are returned within ten days of the bid opening date. This project is classified as a "public work" under the Prevailing Wage Act. Contractors must pay not less than the prevailing wage rates to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics and comply with the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act.
