Renovation of an educational facility in Bay City, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bid proposals are sought from qualified contractors for restroom renovations at McAlear Sawden Elementary, under the 2020 Bond Series 4 - Phase 3. The project will utilize separate prime contractors with all construction contracts being direct with the Owner, and overall administration by the Construction Management Firm. Bids must be submitted on provided forms, fully completed, and may be submitted electronically, by mail, or in person. A Bid Security of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid is required, either as a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. Personal checks are not accepted. Bids are irrevocable for sixty (60) days post-bid date. Successful bidders may be required to furnish Surety Bonds. All bidders must include a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement and a signed Iran Business Relationship Affidavit with their bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any proposal and waive informalities or errors in the bid process. The bid divisions are: General Trades, Flooring, Mechanical, and Electrical. All questions regarding the bidding procedures, design, and drawing/specification intent are to be directed to the Construction Manager on a Clarification Request Form, attention Christie Bigelow-Huver chuver@wolgast.com All work to be completed over Summer Break 2026.
