Demolition for a municipal facility in Everettville, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
Separate, sealed bids are requested for asbestos abatement and demolition of 565 Clark Street, 612 Arlington Street, and 2060 Lloyd Ave. Bids must be submitted using a two-envelope system. Envelope No. 1 should contain the Bid Bond, Certification of Compliance, Power of Attorney, and all other necessary documents required on the Bid Opening Checklist. Envelope No. 2 should be a separate, sealed envelope marked "Bid Proposal" containing the completed and signed Bid Proposal. Both envelopes must display the name and address of the bidder, bidder's WV Contractor's License Number, Bid Call 2026-11, and project title. The documents in Envelope No. 1 will be checked for completeness before opening Envelope No. 2. All bidders must hold a current West Virginia contractor's license at the time of bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cashier's check payable to the City of Morgantown in an amount equal to five percent of the base bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, services, and documentation necessary to construct the Project defined herein. The Work may include related services such as testing, start-up, and commissioning, all as required by the Contract Documents. B. The Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Project is generally described as follows: 1. Asbestos Abatement and Demolition of 565 Clark Street, 612 Arlington Street and 2060 Lloyd Avenue and Restoration of Land which includes the asbestos abatement and demolition of the structures, along with the necessary re-grading, seeding and mulching of the affected property. 2. The Site of the Work includes property, easements, and designated work areas described in greater detail
