The work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to rehabilitate four potable water storage tanks at two project sites, each site containing two 50,000-gallon steel water storage tanks. Base Bid items include removing and replacing interior roof-to-rafter joint sealant; repairing interior and exterior coating deficiencies; modifying and installing new overflow piping; and designing and installing a new fiberglass interior tank ladder with stainless steel safety post. Work also includes installing a new welded steel D-ring fall protection anchor, repairing and upgrading the tank vent screen assembly, addressing localized corrosion caused by existing stainless-steel components, and protecting all interior and exterior coatings throughout construction. Interior and exterior spot coating repairs shall be completed in accordance with the applicable coating specifications. Bid Alternate items include complete removal and replacement of the exterior tank coating system and complete recoating of exposed exterior piping.
