Renovation of an educational facility in Little Silver, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,925-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

The new work generally consists of the renovation of classrooms, including the construction of new walls & finishes, and updates to the mechanical, lighting, and plumbing systems, as well as finishes and furnishing. Sealed bids are requested for LTS Markham Place Classroom Renovations at Markham Place School. Bids are to be submitted in an original and one copy, in a sealed envelope clearly identified as a bid for this project. Documents must be procured through the specified website, with each bidder registered on the site. Documents are available for a fee, with an additional charge for mailing. Bids are to be submitted on provided forms and must include bid security and a Certificate of Consent of Surety. Bidders must not withdraw their bid within 60 days of opening. The owner reserves the right to reject or waive informalities. Bidders and subcontractors must be registered with relevant New Jersey departments and comply with state employment, wage, anti-discrimination, affirmative action, business registration, and political contribution disclosure requirements. Prequalification in specified categories is required. Bidding must conform to public school contracts law. Attendance at a pre-bid conference is strongly recommended. Scope of demolition and removal work is shown on drawings and specified in Section 02 41 00 B. Plumbing: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. C. Fire Suppression Sprinklers: Alter existing and add new construction. F. Fire Alarm: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. G. Telephone: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. H. Security System: Alter existing system and add new construction, keeping existing in operation. I. The new work generally consists of interior renovations to the several classrooms throughout the school, including, but not limited to, finishes, new wall construction, new ceilings & lighting, and mechanical upgrades. J. The scope of the work shall not be limited to what is specifically called out on the drawings or specifications, but shall include any and all selective demolition as well as any cutting and patching as may be required to accomplish the intended construction.
