Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Wapato, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing an iron and manganese removal treatment facility for Well 5. The work includes building a new filtration building, installing a pyrolusite filtration system, interior and underground piping, a concrete backwash tank, tablet chlorination system, HVAC, standby generator, and associated electrical, instrumentation, and telemetry improvements. Additional tasks cover necessary appurtenances, site restoration, testing, commissioning, and training. Well 5 is not currently in use, but owner access to the facility must be maintained throughout construction. All work must comply with the contract provisions and plans and any issued addenda. Proposals must be submitted on the provided form and accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or proposal bond payable to the City of Wapato in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal amount. All work is subject to state prevailing wage rates and all contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington.
