The scope of work includes the installation of approximately 900 linear feet of 1.5 to 2 inch HDPE low pressure sanitary sewer force main, installation of ten curb box assemblies, bituminous Borough roadway restoration, concrete and brick driveway restoration, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to the Borough to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if awarded. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or applicable statutes or ordinances. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, and for contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and The Public Works Employment Verification Act apply.
