Proposals are being requested to establish an alliance agreement with a vendor who can support BWP warehouse personnel with reliable and continuous supply of pipe, pipe fittings, and miscellaneous water fittings. The purpose of the alliance agreement is to furnish the required materials needed by the BWP Water Division to accomplish their daily operations and reduce costs associated with schedule disruptions caused by lack of material for the field crews. The successful vendor will provide restocking services; stock high volume items used by BWP to ensure BWP divisions have access to required material, and conduct meetings with BWP personnel to discuss product improvement. Vendor terms and conditions submitted with the bid will not be accepted and will disqualify the bidder and deem them non-responsive. Additions, changes, and/or exceptions to the City of Burbank general conditions will also disqualify the bidder and deem them non-responsive. Bidders must provide their pricing and required city forms electronically via PlanetBids. Bids and forms not received by the deadline will deem the bidder non-responsive. The following must be submitted via PlanetBids by the due date: lump sum bid on the line item tab, bidder's proposal pages and signed affidavit uploaded, acknowledgement of any addenda issued, acknowledgement of terms of RFP, contractor's references, and vendor/contractor IIPP certification. Upon award, the successful bidder must provide or obtain: vendor registration form (if not a current vendor), signed agreement, and required insurance. Failure to provide all pages and sign will disqualify the bid.
