Sealed bids are being requested for furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the installation of solar panels at the City's Department of Public Works highway building located at W225N3131 Duplainville Road, Pewaukee, WI 53072. Project background, specifications, required documentation, and contracting requirements are available from the Community Development Department Office at W240N3065 Pewaukee Road, Pewaukee, WI 53072 after December 11, 2025. The contract award is subject to Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids without the consent of the Common Council. The City of Pewaukee reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The description should include the following information: 1) PV scope in DC and AC given the make/model of specified modules 2) Ground mount makes and model with cut sheets. 3) PV inverter/s make and model with cut sheet, including information pertaining to warranty extension. 4) Expected generation from PV from each proposed solar array size, including: a. Monthly kWh listed b. Reference source/s for generation data 5) PV (all-in) cost should include the turn-key costs of all permitting, procurement, engineering, construction, and commissioning. 6) Breakdown of payment schedule if contracted. 1.1 DESCRIPTION A. This section includes general performance requirements that apply to installing a solar electric (PV) system for this project. B. This section is part of and shall be included with all requirements associated with Alternate Bid #1. C. Contractor is the Designer of Record for this system. Contractor is required to provide a Structural PE (Professional Engineer) Stamp for the structural design and an Electrical PE Stamp for the overall system design. D. Both the structural and electrical stamps are to be provided by experienced PV designers with at least 5 similar completed projects. E. Contractor is required to have experience with at least 5 similar completed PV projects. F Product specifications included in this section are the Basis for Design. Design substitutions shall meet the minimum performance requirements defined in this section. Electrical System The existing electrical is fed from the utility pump-house building east of the building. It is a 120/208V 3-phase 4-wire (Y). Metering CH: Supply and install proper WEPCO-approved metering systems such as Milbank WM-804-13 PM 480V 3 phase meter cabinet and additional Milbank VC3889-XL (Solar Production meter cabinet) design and install WEPCO metering and solar requirements drawing, parallel metering requirements, O8 dated 5-4-2023. Disconnect Supply and install NEMA 3R main rated 208V 3 poles bolted pressure switch appropriately rated low peak 400-amp 600V fuses as required. Includes a 3-phase solar disconnect as required. Labeling All solar labeling to be high visual UF resistant long-life labeling. Combiner Panel Combiner panel boards and disconnect to be red with white engraved labeling and lettering to denote solar disconnect and Voltage.
