Remodeling of a water / sewer project in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 6,255-square-foot water / sewer project; and 4,128-square-foot water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes improvements at the Lake Pewaukee Sanitary District's main headquarters and existing Lift Station 13 at the same site. The project consists of two main components: 1. Lift Station 13 Reconstruction: This involves the reconstruction of the lift station, including gravity sewer and force main, wet well, building, metal canopy, new electric and natural gas utilities, along with select demolition. 2. Lift Station Support Facility Remodel and Expansion: This includes remodeling the existing 4,128 square foot facility and adding 6,255 square feet, resulting in a total facility size of 10,383 square feet. All related site work, plumbing, heating, and electrical are included in this work. Bids are to be based on a single lump sum for both components combined but will result in two separate contracts. Bidders may be required to submit a brief statement of their qualifications before submitting a bid. All bidders must submit a complete list of subcontractors with their proposals or within 24 hours after the bid due date. Bids must remain firm for 90 days after the opening date. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid amount. Successful bidders must provide performance and labor/materials bonds for 100% of the contract. Contract awards must demonstrate positive efforts to utilize Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and comply with relevant regulations. The project is partially funded by a Clean Water Fund loan and must comply with American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements. A bidder's qualification statement must be submitted at least 5 days before the bid opening.
