Demolition, site work and addition to a stadium in Grunthal, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the addition of a 9,895-square-foot, one-story above grade stadium; for the demolition of a stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) confirms the Owner's wish to appoint a Construction Manager (CM) through an abbreviated competitive evaluation process, who will then serve as an integral member of the Project Team. The responsibility of the Construction Manager will be to advise of constructability, conduct cost estimating, and tender the contract documents and specifications to sub-trades through an open book process. The building program consists of an additional expansion of 919 SM (9895 SQFT), one story building that will accommodate accessible and inclusive recreation facilities for community members. The building addition will include new change rooms, viewing area, a multipurpose room, a hall, and a kitchen. The current anticipated cost of the project is approximately $5,000,000 - $5,500,000 It is the Owner's intent that the Project commences construction in March/April 2026.
