A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Bids are invited for the Warwick Valley Central School District High School Section III HVAC and Plumbing Contracts. Bids will be received for HVAC and Plumbing contracts. Sealed bids must be received by the Board of Education at the Warwick Valley Central School District by 2:00 PM on January 15, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidding documents will be available at specified locations. A pre-bid conference and on-site project area review will be conducted by the Engineer. Site visits may be arranged by contacting the designated individual. Bidders' attention is called to the owner's sales tax exemption, employment conditions, and minimum wage requirements. There are detailed requirements for bidder qualification, including bonding and insurance, financial statements, bank references, description of similar projects, and more. Bids must be prepared as stated in the instructions to bidders, enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder and the title of the work. Each bid must include security of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as specified. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. The owner also reserves the right to disqualify bidders for material failure to comply with the instructions to bidders and supplementary instructions.
