Provide Electrical, Fire Alarm, and Low-Voltage Engineering Services for a New Modular Building Project (48-feet by 40-feet) at the Fullerton School District Print Shop. All bids shall be on the form provided and must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must possess an active and in-good-standing State of California Contractor License: B - General Contractor. Bid security of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price is required as a bid bond, cash, cashier's check, or certified check. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. The successful bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District in accordance with Public Contract Code § 22300. All workers must be paid prevailing wages as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California. Bidders and subcontractors must comply with registration and qualification requirements per Labor Code §§ 1725.5 & 1771.1. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit are required. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. The contract will be awarded, if at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the total base bid amount plus allowance.
