**As of February 16th, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project includes the rehabilitation of the existing influent wastewater pump station (PS #43) at the North Topeka Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The work also includes rehabilitation of the junction box that collects flow from PS #43 and the South Kansas Force Main and flows into the treatment plant headworks. A bypass pumping connection on the 36" South Kansas Force Main will be installed to facilitate the junction box rehabilitation work. The project will also include the replacement of valves at the overflow basin on the west side of the site. BID CLOSING: Will be public following the receipt of bids at the office of the Contracts & Procurement Division, City Hall, 215 SE 7th Street, Room B60, Topeka, Kansas 66603. BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent ( 5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. The original bid security shall be provided to the office of Contracts and Procurement before the 2:00 closing date. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION: All persons seeking to enter into a contract with the City shall submit an acceptable affirmative action program in accordance with Section 3.30.460 of the Code of the City of Topeka, Kansas.
