Demolition, site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Leicester, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The bids came in over budget. There was no contract award. Engineering, demolition and reconstruction of four existing tennis courts and one basketball court at 70 Winslow Ave., Leicester, MA 01524. Work consists of replacing existing asphalt courts on-site, with line painting and delineation of courts to allow convertible use between tennis and pickle ball. Basketball court to remain single use. Each bidder shall enclose with the bid an acceptable bid bond or bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the bid's value on the form specified. Successful bidder will be required to provide a 50% payment bond for the project. The Town of Leicester reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding and to make the award as appears to the best interests of the Town. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Question Deadline 02/06/2026 No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder. Every interpretation requested shall be made in writing. No such request received within three days ofthe date established for the opening ofbids will be given consideration.
