Folsom Cordova Unified School District (hereinafter "District") invites proposals from contractors for three separate lease-leaseback fencing contracts. The three projects are for the Mather Heights Elementary School Site Fencing Project, Peter J. Shields Elementary School Site Fencing Project, and Empire Oaks Elementary School Site Fencing Project. All proposers are required to read and completely familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of the RFPs, and to submit all necessary paperwork as required of proposer as specified in the RFPs. The District reserves the right to postpone the opening of proposals, accept or reject any and all proposals, and to waive any informality in any proposal, all as District deems to be in its own best interests. This is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage requirements and the successful proposer, and each of its subcontractors, shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Wage rates can be obtained from the District by request. All proposers, and all subcontractors listed in any proposal, must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to California Labor Code section 1725.5. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Installation of new 6' tall, three rail ornamental iron fencing, concrete mowstrips and gates including ADA pedestrian, service and vehicle gates. Installation of 6' tall chain link fencing, concrete mow strips and gates including non-ADA pedestrian and service gates. Miscellaneous civil work including but not limited to saw cutting, site concrete placement, AC patchback and re-striping. o Provide 2 Year Contractor Guarantee. The general contractors, RFP respondents, are responsible for their own advertising, document distribution and document tracking. Contractor should review the plans and specifications carefully and submit a guaranteed maximum price proposal based thereon.
