The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of cold plane, full-depth reclamation, placing and compacting hot mix asphalt paving, traffic handling, use of traffic control, portable changeable message signs, sign installation, pavement delineation and striping, in addition to other items or details not mentioned above, as required by the plans and specifications, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. Each bid must be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Amador County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. Bids received late or sent via telegraph, FAX, or E-mail will not be considered. No prebid meeting is scheduled for this project. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, with all bonds obtained from a surety admitted under the laws of the State of California and satisfactory to the Amador County Board of Supervisors.
