Fayette County is soliciting the services of an ODOT prequalified Consultant to provide all the necessary environmental and engineering services for the purpose of preparing select environmental studies, construction drawings, and specifications for extending Bluegrass Boulevard (CR 310) from the proposed roundabout at the intersection of State Route 729 east to State Route 41. Project length is approximately 1.80 miles and within Jefferson Township, Fayette County, Ohio. Road shall be a three-lane rural roadway (with room for a future 5 lane section 140’ right of way and Design Speed of 50 MPH), with paved berms, open ditches, underdrains, guardrail, utility extensions for water and sewer, and drainage. The project includes a crossing of the West Central Ohio Port Authority (WESTCO) which is operated by the Indiana & Ohio Railway (IORY) and a crossing of the Sugar Creek. Project shall include a single lane roundabout that will accommodate a WB-67 truck at State Route 41 with lighting, and landscaping of the intersection. Right of Way acquisition will be solicited separately at a future time. This project will follow the ODOT Local Let Process.
