Renovation of a mixed-use development in Kirkland, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

Comments related to using the ECCM/MCCM process, evaluation criteria, weights for each criteria and protest procedures are encouraged and answers will be compiled and sent out to all MCCM/ECCM partners. 4.2. All written public comment must submitted via email to: 4.2.1.Erik Bedell erik.bedell@gly.com 4.2.2.All public comments must be submitted by January 2nd, 2026 4.3. After all comments are addressed, a final determination letter will be sent to all interested parties. The final determination will include that the subcontractor alternative delivery process (ECCM/MCCM) is in the best interest of the public and address all comments and provide any modifications as decided due to the comments for criteria, weights and protest procedures. GLY Construction, acting as General Contractor on behalf of Lake Washington School District ("Owner") (LWSD-Michael Romero), is soliciting mechanical/plumbing and electrical partners per the Alternative Subcontractor Selection (MCCM/ECCM) process per RCW 39.10.385 . LWSD is considered a public entity and approved to issue the GCCM and ECCM/MCCM under the State of Washington PRC Certification process for public entities. The fieldhouse and pool building at Juanita High School was built in 1970. The following improvements have been completed or are in progress with estimated completion by Fall 2025: o Upgrade/replace Full roofing system o Upgrade pool HVAC equipment o ADA upgrades o Upgrade Pool infrastructure and equipment o Upgrade Pool finish, deck and viewing area o Upgrade Pool locker rooms The following scopes are being studied/considered as part of the 2024 Levy modernization: o Upgrade boiler system and remaining air handling units o Modernize locker rooms & restrooms o Update windows, doors & railings o Upgrade fire/life/safety systems o Upgrade lighting & electrical systems o Modernize PE and support spaces o Expand front entrance for improved access It is intent of GLY + LWSD to partner with the mechanical, plumbing and electrical contractor near the schematic design phase to provide budgeting, design review, site and construction logistics, scheduling, sustainability and diversity goals for the project and to bring our MEP partners early on to provide a high level of leadership, experience and knowledge related to MEP systems for the project and expects there will be a fiscal benefit through early cost certainty. The enclosed onboarding for mechanical and electrical partners emphases an award on February 2nd, 2026. Hargis Engineers has been retained to develop MEP documents and are the engineer of record on the project. Minimum Firm Qualifications: Must have applicable experience for education projects that are of the same size and anticipated valuations for the scope your firm is proposing on the project. Must have the ability to provide sufficient qualified labor with experience in education that is applicable to your scope of work for the project Must be able to provide a bond per the RFQ on the project We encourage minority and women's business enterprises, including businesses certified with the department of veteran affairs.
