Spragg School, along with all incidental work required, in accordance with the bid documents. Bid proposals must be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner, bearing the name and address of the bidder, clearly marked with "BID," the contract title, and/or bid number on the outside. Each bid must include a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond made payable to the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. Bidders for contracts exceeding $20,000 must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the specified classifications. All proposals must include a Consent of Surety from an approved surety company, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds. The project is subject to the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and possess a current certificate. A Business Registration Certificate and compliance with anti-discrimination laws are required. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after opening, and the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive minor informalities.
