Sealed proposals are requested to provide materials and labor to design and construct ADA curb ramps, perform road repair, and mill and overlay various streets. Bid security in the amount of ten percent of the total bid amount is required, in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or bid bond. All bids must remain effective for sixty days from the date of bid opening unless delayed by required government approvals, bond sales, or grant awards, in which case bids remain effective for one hundred twenty days. If awarded, the contract must be completed within 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Construction Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount, covering a 1-year correction period starting upon completion of the work, are required.
