The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all demolition related to future improvements to Bangs Lake Marina at 231 East Liberty Street, Wauconda, IL 60084. Separate sealed bids must be submitted for each contract. Bidders are required to comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. A 10% bid bond is required. Bids must be addressed as specified and will be received until the designated deadline. Bidders must obtain plans, specifications, and proposal forms through the designated construction manager. All contracts and subcontracts must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. Contractors agree to be bound by the terms of their bid for sixty (60) calendar days after the bid opening date. The Park District reserves the right to award contracts to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities, informalities, or technicalities. Bids received after the due date and time will be rejected. Bid questions must be directed to the Project Manager for the construction manager by the specified deadline. The successful bidder will be required to post performance, labor, and material payment bonds, and to execute contracts directly with the Park District. All questions shall be submitted no later than 12:00 PM Friday, January 9th, 2026.
