Remove four old package units and one mini split. Install four new package units, four new ERV units, and one new mini split. Question Submission Deadline: January 19, 2026, 5:00pm: All questions relative to interpretation of the specifications or the bid process shall be addressed in writing via Hernando County's eProcurement Portal Q&A Tab Sealed bids, proposals, or replies received by an agency pursuant to a competitive solicitation are exempt from inspection until such time as the agency provides notice of an intended decision or until thirty (30) days after opening the bids, proposals, or final replies, whichever is earlier. Hernando County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting licensed electrical and mechanical contractors who are experienced in replacing industrial HVAC equipment. Bid offers shall be accompanied by either a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Official Bank Check in the dollar amount representing not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid as a guarantee to enter into a contract and furnish a contract performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of notification of the award. Ex parte Communication: Please note that to ensure the proper and fair evaluation of a submittal, the County prohibits ex parte communication (i.e., unsolicited) initiated by the Respondent to the County official or employee evaluating or considering the submittals prior to the time a decision has been made. Communication between Respondent and the County will be initiated by the appropriate County official or employee in order to obtain information or clarification needed to develop a proper and accurate evaluation of the submittal. Ex parte communication may be grounds for disqualifying the offending Respondent from consideration or award of the solicitation or any future solicitation. The Procurement Department will post addenda on online to all questions in accordance with the Solicitation Instructions. It is the responsibility of prospective Bidders to visit the County's portal to ensure that they are aware of all Addenda issued relative to this Solicitation. Pursuant to Florida Statutes 119.071 sealed bids, proposals or replies received by an agency pursuant to a competitive Solicitation are exempt from inspection until such time as the agency provides notice of an intended decision or until thirty (30) days after opening the bids, proposals, or final replies whichever is earlier. This conference will be held only once and failure to attend and sign in shall disqualify any bidder not attending from submitting a bid. Attendees must be present at the start of the pre-bid conference. Arrival after the start of the pre-bid conference shall be cause for disqualification.
